Food

The Romans ate porridge and bread out of cereal grain and they drank wine but they mixed water in for a better taste. They would prepare the food in giant clay ovens to cook the food. They would hunt their food and trade items for food. Everybody did not eat the same things. Wealthy people would eat exotic and fancy food while the poor people would eat plain food and just enough to be  full. Bread was the most often eaten food to make it better they would add cheese, honey or would eat it  with sausage, fowl, eggs, cheese, fish, or shellfish. Oysters were also very popular, meat was in demand. They would bake bread cakes and pastries at home. They generally ate only one big meal a day and they would eat with their fingers and not with forks or spoons like today. This is a little on the food in Ancient Rome!
